Firm History

Tom Crites & Associates International was established in 1974 in Savannah, Georgia, and is owned by Tom Crites, a practicing court reporter of 40-plus years. Before moving to Savannah and starting a freelance business, Mr. Crites was an official reporter in the U.S. District Court in San Francisco from 1969 to 1971. He was administratively assigned to serve as court reporter for Chief Judge George B. Harris. After Justice Tom Clark stepped down from his eighteen years on the Supreme Court of the United States, due to his son's appointment as the Attorney General of the United States, Mr. Crites had the pleasure of working with Justice Clark for six months. Since 1972, Mr. Crites has personally covered hundreds of international reporting assignments all over the world, enjoying what he does best.

The associates of the firm have extensive experience and skills, some having practiced business with Mr. Crites during much of his career. Every member of Tom Crites & Associates International is well equipped to handle every reporting need.
